I think for 2008, I’m switching to the 1st Monday of the month for AdilSembangs :)

So, hopefully see you at the mamak near Shah’s Village Hotel in PJ State near the Taman Jaya LRT, MAJU CURRY HOUSE (see map! :), Monday 7th Jan, 9pm to plan on how to rock 2008 :)

Work might prevent me from going, but it’s a good event to attend if you can.

A peaceful assembly and memorandum handing event will take place in the SUHAKAM office to highlight and protect :

1. The Right to peaceful assembly as enshrined under Article 10 of the Federal Constitution

A Solidarity vigil will be held this coming Saturday night, in support of ISA detainees who are unable to exercise their fundamental rights in Malaysia, and to express our opposition towards the Governments crackdown on protestors.

There is a solidarity gathering, originally planned for the 31 Indian arrestees who were charged with attempted murder and denied bail.

If the 8 arrested today are still inside, the urgency is even greater.
