Another “sudden death” in police custody?! The case of R. Gunasegaran
While we are still reeling over Teo, there has been another death in custody, via Susan:
A suspected drug addict collapsed while having his finger prints recorded at the Narcotics Division of the Sentul Police District Headquarters here today, and died when being rushed to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Sentul police chief ACP Zakaria Pagan said.
He said R. Gunasegaran, 31, collapsed between 6.45pm and 7pm, and was pronounced dead at 7.40pm at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
A police officer tried to administer first aid but Gunasegaran did not respond, he said.
“After the effort failed, he was sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival by a medical officer. We believe he died while on the way to the hospital,” he told reporters at his office, here.
Zakaria said a post-mortem revealed that death was caused by drug intoxication, and the case was classified as sudden death.
“No force was applied on him or on any of the other detainees. They were undergoing a standard interrogation process,” he said.
Zakaria said the inspection by the medical officer at the hospital found no injury on the body of Gunasegaran and that this was confirmed by a magistrate.
Here we face the exact same problems as we do in Teo’s case.
As established earlier, “standard interrogation process” tends to involve massive amounts of abuse.
Secondly, in the aftermath of A. “died from drinking water” Kugan, who in the public trusts these anonymous government “medical officers?”
Once again, I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt – maybe Gunasegaran did die from a drug overdose. But in this atmosphere of such doubt, such lack of transparency, and most of all: from a history of abuse, I cannot help but still harbour suspicions.

Right now I’m probably even afraid to go to the police station to pay my ’saman’. Just like H1N1, this ’sudden death’ disease seem to be just as infectious.
can someone please share their experience on torture without leaving any evidence ???
Heard of some technics but dont know if its true..
What a joke!!!!!! Those in the coridoors of power are given a “free” hand to do as they please so long as they please the powers that be!!!!! Politicians, even if they were mere wage earners before entering politics, can own mansions in a short span of time to the likes of Elvis Presely (Graceland) and MIchael Jackson (Neverland) but are never called upon by the MACC for investigations, leave alone interogations!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT I CALL “DOUBLE STANDARDS” that reek of ultimate corruption to high heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May their souls, as of the Mongolian beauty who was C4ed, come back to haunt the current regime of the “murderer” and his “Queen” Rosmah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Das

Are the Police carrying out an Inquest as is Mandatory under M’sian Law?
Wait. Now here’s another news. A juvenile just died in Prison in Malacca. Police classified it as …..yep…you guess it! “SUDDENNNNN DEATHHHH”!!
We are indeed a pariah nation. We have been labelled as one and we must confirm that trademark. Once a upon the time our nation has been looked upon and being highly respected. We even had a leader that even the American and the west respected, even though they hate him. Now even the FIDs had shrinked and those in investment decided to bundled-up. Our economy is scheduled to shrink to -4.5% in the coming quarter and even worse if our export data fare badly. In the past, Indonesia and Thailand are known to be highly corrupted nations, but they have stared to clean up their acts, they have made drastic gains in FIDs and currency valuations. Our nation shall be condemned forever, and our future generations shall face a bleak future. Maybe worse than Mynmar, maybe in the same bracket as Bangladash and some African nations, if we are to have a dictator leadership, which is very possible because the current leader is making sure that the current Government shall remain in power at any cost. Fellow Malaysians, PRU13 is our sole answer and I call upon U to use your right and make the change. Any leader will do as long as not from UNMO. I love this beautiful country and we must stand united.
Ok….!
Next case…………….
“Sudden death”…………!!!!
I don’t think there are 27 million Malaysians anymore…….!!
Sometimes I wonder……….
How can “these” people sleep so well & go about their lives without any “guilt”…..???????????
“Hell” must be quite crowded by now….!!!
The term “pagan” is from the Latin “paganus”, an adjective originally meaning “rural”, “rustic” or “of the country.”
The water in Sentul is vile.
