I am angry and dismayed again at the treatment Uthayakumar’s supporters got at Brickfield’s yesterday.
Will it always be the case that when those who BN doesn’t like come to make police reports, we are going to be chemical water cannoned?
Don’t the police ever learn that no recent gathering in Malaysia has broken out into spontaneous violence or unruly behaviour. Or perhaps, is it their ridiculous pride or trigger happy nervousness that gets intimidated too easily by peaceful gatherings?
That’s one thing. The other is: why is it so frikkin’ hard to get Uthayakumar some decent medical attention?
Is the government trying to punish the whole Indian community by denying one man proper medical attention and literally letting him rot?
Give the man the treatment he needs (and of course, release or charge him and all his fellow inmates), and what need is there to protest?
Grr.
Anyway. 5 Malaysiakini videos below.

UMNO personified?
Ajar BN-Umno di peti undi – Sasterawan Negara
Malaysian police are not representing the rakyat but UMNO! So barbaric – for what reason to treat peaceful demonstrators of Hindraf and who are fighting for human rights of the very ill Uthaya and the other unjustly ISA detained activists? How come UMNO Youth thugs who were beating like gangsters, Mr Karpal Singh , who is even disabled, and committing this crime even at the Parliament, are not water-canoned and immediately arrested by the police? Are the police going to arrest these gangsters then? Are these gangsters all Malaysian citizens, or there are foreign agents amidst these Umno youth who might be Islamist fanatics or even potential terrorists, trying to stir up racial-religious hatred towards non-Malays/non-Muslims in Malaysia – these agents are what I suspect as the opportunistic joint alliance of Al-Qaeda/Afghan-Taleban/Pakistan-Taleban/Iran theocratic Mullahs’ regimes to construct their dream of a fanatical “Islamist Empire” Arabia style in their South-East Asia base! PKR leaders, please take action!

Yes…!
Only BN has the right to demo, act like thugs, riot, etc., etc…..!!!!
And they always get away with it.
And that’s “double standard”……………!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wait for that ‘Botak’ stupid comments lah…………!
This is no way to rule a country lah. Why brutalize anyone with a conscience? It is news like this that reminds you once again, that things need to change in Malaysia.
The law has proven to be (almost) useless against the police…. what other weapon have you got except your vote in the next election?
Saint Nat,
You know this and I know this: You should be locked up under ISA for inciting racial tension.
I would advise you to re-read your post and act accordingly.
Thanks and have a nice week.

Business as usual, but at higher intensity, of all abuse of power and denial of basic rights and justice by government machinery. The imminent enthronement of Najib is the reason. The only way out for Malaysia is change the federal government, and bite the bullet together for the birth pain – before and after.
To the Govt of M’sia,
Please find the root cause why the Indian M’sians demand that they be heard. Please listen and then make conclusion after that. If their demand does make sense then give them what is due to them, and tell them gentlemanly if otherwise… Please stop harassing them…
After watching the video, my very concern now is that, after being constantly pushed against the wall and heavy-handedness shown by the authoritative powers (as witnessed from the rude and desperate calls over loudspeakers by those police officers), it can only breed extremism. Malaysians will hold the current BN regime and the abusive police responsible should the day arrive.
I am truly disgusted and ashamed at the recent events that is unfolding back home..Are we progressing slowly into a dictatorship kind of government.
And to my dear fellow Hindraf brothers ..Bravo. Despite repetivitive humilation you are still standing on tall facing these bullies and am proud coz you are bold enough to walk to the street to voice your disatisfation.
