YB Lim has some nice things to say about him here.
I somehow overlooked this fact in March, but the Kuala Terengganu seat was actually very hotly contested.
Remember the old grandmother who contested in the last general elections? Guess which seat she contested in.
Not only that. In the final tally, if the votes that went to said grandmother went to Mat Sabu, the PAS vice president and candidate for Kuala Terengganu, he would have won the seat instead.
It’ll be a pretty important by-election I think.
