Act NOW against the ISA: Fly flag, Drive with lights on, Go bald
Enough!
I have waited days and weeks for some more ‘prominent’ person or group to embark on some sort of mass action. After little word from politicians, NGOs, etc, I think its time we took matters into our own hands, and lead the way.
Lately I’ve been having the feeling that the opportunity is slipping; that we are becoming lax, and soon we will lose the chance of a lifetime to change Malaysia for the better once and for all.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to let that happen.
Let’s all get behind the initiative by the Malaysia Today team, I reproduce here:
Dear friends of RPK,
A man who has stood up for truth and justice in Malaysia has now been incarcerated for two years without trial and with no hope for release, save at the pleasure of our Home Minister.
The time has come for Malaysians to stand up and be counted; to send a signal both to the authorities that we will not be cowered and that we stand by our man; to send a signal to each other that we are not alone, and to show our strength to one and all.
The time has come to act.
We compile here a number of actions that every Malaysian citizen can do in protest of the ISA, and to express their hope for a better Malaysia. It is imperative in this crucial moment that we keep up the momentum, lest RPK be forgotten like the rest of the ISA detainees.
1. Fly the Malaysian flag anywhere and everywhere possible (car, house, desk, body)
2. Drive with your headlights on in the day
3. Go bald (send pictures to MT Team)
There are a number of other activities that can also be done, all of which will help RPK:
1. Wear Free RPK T-shirts (coming soon!)
2. Hold Candlelight vigils (send pictures to MT Team)
3. Sign online petitions (click here to sign)
4. Flood the authorities with phone calls, faxes, etc (click here for more details)
5. Send greeting cards to ISA detainees in Kamunting

Careful, Shit Al-Blur might spin that the no.3 activity are supporting him/ISA as he is botak as well.
Since cannot fly flag upside down, I will not fly one at all.
But I will drive my car with head- lights on during the day as a sign of protest starting today after work.
I will do it until RPK and other ISA detainees are freed unconditionally.
My salute to all Peacemakers.
Syabas Barisan Rakyat.
6. Resign is you are member of any BN component parties
7. Bocyott all open houses of BN MPs, State Assembly members and Ministers.
How about Car stickers?
How about NOT servicing the Busniness that are owned by UMNO or its cronies…such as PETROL STATIONS????
If go bald like ham-id, it would leave a deeper impression. Alas, with his frigging disgusting image, who wanna look like him? :P
Pls let me know when T-shirts are ready. Shall be delighted to wear it.
Thank U.
susan loone has also listed out a number of things to do:
http://sloone.wordpress.com/2008/09/24/10-things-to-do-for-rpk-et-al-now/
Can send postcards and mail to:
Tempat Tahanan Perlindungan,
34600 Kamunting, Taiping,
Perak MALAYSIA
Addressed to RPK, I guess.
There was also a standard letter I saw that was prepared when you were detained. Maybe we could use those standard letters and emails to send to the authorities? (This mass mailing thing makes me nervous, but all for a good cause, I guess :) ).
Nat, with all due respect, I think that Malaysians should focus their energy and efforts on a single activity to show support for RPK and the rest of the other ISA detainees, and also to call for the abolishment of the ISA. Too many activities just waters down the focus and impact of the message. Social activists and NGO leaders need to come together and start a single coordinated campaign for this purpose. A good start would be a single coordinated letter-writing campaign to protest RPK’s detention. JR

I want a T-shirt!
May Petra be like Peter of old
Solid as a rock as has been told
Never in face of danger easily fold
Standing for priciples that never grow cold

……………
There is nothing to worry Steve, his botak head is incomplete. The hair on his head is the symbol of his nature-to please his boss and to protect his fellow goons from RPK. There are so many questionable characters holding top positions including himself. Just imagine how they could easily manipulate their just awakened boss.
For your info, I am already bald because I want to stand up and be counted. How about you all fellow friends who believe in RPK?

Perak Umno Youth wants the state Religious Department to act against Perak Tengah district councillor Zul Hassan and businessman Fairul Azrim Ismail after they admitted having accepted offers to have sex with Chinese nationals.
“what is important is we did not ask for the women. He supplied them to us. If people sedekah (donate), don’t you want to accept the sedekah?”
Fairul, who was picked up for questioning but later released on ACA bail, had admitted having had sex with a Chinese woman.
Shouldnt these 2 guys be ISA ed for insulting the Meaning of SEDEKAH?
and by doing so, because they themselves are Muslim,
They are Insulting the Islam during the Holy Month of Ramadan by admitting to acepting “Sedekah Sex”!!!
