Sept 23, through thick and thin

Update: Although this is the hot topic, please do also take note of the vigil tonight, for our newly detained brother and the others still deprived of liberty.

As a deadline for an emergency session of parliament to be called, it’s a little too far for my liking. But amidst all the brouhaha that proceeded Sept 16, among the comments I found compelling was one some people made about being fair weather friends.

I wish we changed governments on Sept 16. We didn’t. Now we have to make the best of it.

Anwar says have faith. He said we’d deny 2/3rds majority. He said we’d win Permatang Pauh with a majority. He says we have the numbers.

We’ve rode with him and Pakatan through the good times, now we find out whether we’re willing to stick with him through the tough times.

Fence-sitters: you go ahead and remain non-committal if you like. As I believed when I first started out, change is not something you wait for, it’s something you make.

  • So true..

However the date he set…Sept 23…maybe too far as we know what the BN gov can do to him as they have time and time again been doing when their seats are being threatened.

All we can do is sit and watch plus pray very hard that they (BN) dont play dirty – fat chance but …..whose to know.

As it is Pak Lah is given the chance. He is given the opportunity as to resort to tyranny or be a democrats Muslim Hadhari until 23 September. Fair play, so Mr. PM , the choice is yours, don’t just simply bark, the rakyat is expecting a sensible response from you and not farcical. So you Malaysian out there, keep the spirit of CHANGE as we the people want change.

We are still behind you, DSAI… all the way!!!!

    Well, at least I AM!!!!

By then, I’m sure we will be in “state of emergency”..
They will use ISA against DSAI, the whole Malysia will be in chao and Bodowi will take this opportunity to declare it.. He will treaten the whole Cabinet and MPs as well… mind you, he is a sly guy, all those innocent face and sleeping antic is just a cover-up… morever he has his SIL giving him advise..

Then again DSAI might not have the number and he’s playing mind game.. He is trying to drag a bit and hopping that the internal problem in UMNO and BN will force Bodowi to step down before launching another attempt to pacify the fence-sitting MPs.. Clearly there’s crack in UMNO and BN.

WHO SUFFERS FROM ALL THIS?? We rakyat are suffering!!! Why not calling for a fresh election to let the Rakyat decide!!.. Let settle this once for all..

BN are saying they got the mandate/ PAKATAN are saying they got the majority… Mind you guys, WE RAKYAT SHOULD DECIDE!!!!

Yes we all know that it ain’t easy. Removing a 50 yr old gomen requires not only patience but resilience. The resilience to go through thick and thin. It is not an overnite thing. It must involves legally and constitutionally acceptable procedures. We have witness so far what they can do with ISA not to mention sodomy. DSAI and members must tread with care. Todate steps taken have been nothing short of excellence towards the ultimate objective. The Giant is cornered. They are fighting back, blows below the belt, they are fighting dirty, they are showing desperation…Be patient, time consuming strategic manoeuvring and every tactical blows must be perfectly time to deliver the maximum effect. When the Giants can’t take the blows no more they will crumple…..the bigger the giant the heavier is the fall….

  • Bro,

Anwar no credibility post Sept 16. Open your eyes and don’t let him drag you down with him.

nat: lol, my open eyes tell me to take care not to be dragged down with *you*, ahaha. I saw Anwar answer your question in PC just now, damn funny.

Don’t worry be happy. Everything is going according to plan as RPK said. In one of his last blog posts, RPK bet that he would not be detained for 2 years but only for a mere 2 weeks. Now, when was RPK detained? September 12th..when is 2 weeks later..September 26th..the time is nearing. When has RPK ever let us down? I hope not too for all our sake.

  • Don’t try to paraphrase me and talk about dragging. I have nothing to do with you. You worship Anwar and I’m helping you see the light.

In other words, I called him a liar. Ironically, you find it funny.

nat: haha, at least you got one thing rightla bro, i do find you funny.

surely its hard job to unsit 51 yrs incumbent. DSAI cant do it alone . the rakyat should stand solid behind him at all time – especially this trying moment… remember – no gain without pain
