Deputy IGP issues threat; hunger strike if arrested?

Deputy IGP:

Deputy police chief Ismail Omar today issued a stern warning against those speculating and spreading rumours of a government takeover.

MCPX

He said that these speculations were causing instability in the country.

That’s just… idiotic.

Asking Malaysians not to speculate under conditions like this is like asking Ismail not to see someone in a blue uniform on any given day.

The cause of instability in this country is not speculation, it is weak leadership, and trigger happy cops who are arresting anti-government activists at their whim and fancy.

I’ve had it up to here. I’m not going to stop talking about what matters to Malaysia just because it makes some cop nervous. And don’t give me that bullshit about the “silent majority.” The majority has spoken loud and clear, and they want peaceful change, NOT intimidation.

Threats against bloggers, threats against writers, threats against Pakatan.

I thought about this. I think it would be wise if detained without possibility of trial to engage immediately on a hunger strike. No more submission!!

The men in blue also hopeless…. they don’t work for Rakyat.. They work for UMNO.. Hmm.. Let me guest. This will justify for the PM and the stupid botak to back up a plan to arest DSAI…
Dear Agong.. pls do something before this country is ruin by the BN…

What!!!! WE cant speculate??? What rubbish is he talking about???This is my life and i do what i want with it.Dont teach me what to do.

I would like to advice the deputy igp to stop meddling with the politics. Leave that antics to the minister concern. Focus your job on maintaining public order and upholding the law.

  • I agree. It is crap. But Nat, u already so kurus. U go on hunger strike then there’ll be nothing left.

  • kathy

Absolutely! Can the deputy IGP differentiate between discussion and speculation? Besides, the only person who can end this speculation is the Prime Minister himself. Grant Anwar a meeting to confirm that the latter has the numbers or reconvene Parliament. Therefor it is the PM who is the root cause of all this speculation.

  • GOD'S CHILD THE DECORATED SOLDIER

COME MY LEARNED DEPUTY IGP, COMMON SENCES, IT”S SEEMS M’SIA HAS THE BEST SB (SPEACIAL BRANCH) IN THE WORLD (MALAYSIA BOLEH) SENT THEM AND FIND OUT THE WHAT IS THE HEART OF THE GENARAL PUBLIC

The Gomen behave as though the institutions of the people is their personal fiefdom. They act like the Ex monarch of Nepal. The Warlords divide the security ministries and the finance amongst themselves.
I detest these men for the illiterate manner they cling to power. Badawi secure the guns Najib secures the country’s money and that’s because bribery is paramount in their plot and Al Bar keeps the police with a view to ISA. Gosh ! they are so weak imbecility ranks high in their methods.

  • These brain-dead humans are taking a lot of liberties in intepreting what constitute a threat to national security and what causes instability.

Next, he’ll say farting is a threat to national security.

DID THE DIGP KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT POLITCS AND GOVERMENT.POLICE FORCE IS APOLITICAL.HE SHOULD STOP MEDDLING IN MATTERS CONCERNING THE PEOPLE AND GOVERMENT.IT IS FOR THE PEOPLE TO DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE THEIR PM NOT THE POLICE.HE SHOULD USE HIS COMMAND AND ALL THE RESOUCERS AVAILABLE ESPECIALLY THE SPECIAL BRANCH TO REDUCE THE CRIME INDEX , HOUSE BREAKING CASES AND ETC SO THE PEOPLE CAN MOVE AROUND CONFIDENTLY TO CARRY OUT THEIR DAILY ACTIVITIES WHITOUT MUCH WORRY.

Why are Malaysian Pollsters not taking a national poll to find out what the Rakyat wants. Is it very difficult to go out on the streets and ask 1000 or so men, women a) Do you think BN has outlive it’s usefulness and wellcome
    b) Are Malaysian’s violent and law breakers when it comes to political matters
    c) Should the PM resign
    d) Should the PM call for a fresh elections
    e) and so on and so on,

I am sure there are more and more appropriate questions that Malaysian could be asked and answers need to be heard from the silent majority

Which better way to find out other than carrying a national poll.

Hunger strike is good. After all, the food they serve to ISA detainees is unfit for humans.

The human body can survive 2-3 months without food provided water is taken. More than enough for them to cave in.

  • KHIR AL TOYOL AL KULUP AL BULLBAR

AHMAD BADAWI SAID DSAI IS A THREAT TO NATIONAL ECONOMY AND SECRITY BUT THE PM DONT KNOW THAT HIS WEAK AND FRAGILE LEADERSHIP IS THE MAIN CAUSE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY-INSECURITY,WEAK ECONOMY AND HIGH INFLATION.HE SAID,IF HE LOWER THE PRICE OF THE OIL(PETROL) IT WILL MAKE THE PETRONAS TO GO BANCRUPT.HE RATHER WANT THE PEOPLE TO GO BANCRUPT THAN THE PETRONAS-THE UMNO`S CASH COW.HE MUST GO DOWN THE FIELD AND CHECK THE THE POPULARITY OF UMNO AND BN OR HE MUST ASK THE SPECIAL BRANCH PEOPLE TO GO DOWN AND FIND OUT THE POPULARITY OF UMNO AND BN AMONG THE PEOPLE.HE MUST FACE THE REALTY AND DONT FEEL SHAME TO HANDOVER THE LEADERSHIP TO DSAI.PEOPLE HAVE TOTALY LOST CONFIDENCE IN UMNO AND BN.EVEN NAJIB WERE TO TAKE OVER THE PM POST,THINGS WILL BE THE SAME.PEOPLE AND MASSES WANT A NEW PARTY TO RULE OR TAKE OVER THE PRIME MINISTERSHIP.IT IS BETTER FOR PAK LAH TO HANDOVER THE PM POST TO DSAI GRACEFULLY RATHER THAN IT BEING TAKEN FORCEFULLY OR DISGRACEFULLY BY WAY OF NON CONFIDENT VOTE IN PARLIMENT.

i feel it is suffice to say to the digp “how dare you threathen us AGAIN???????” The rakyat have to stand up to this imbecile police who are themselves intimidating the rakyat!!! They are threats to us rakyat!!! If the agong does not want to intervene to protect the rakyat, then we should and must appeal to the King of Kings!!!!

  • Dulan

    He should have said:

“We will protect you safety as we did for the reporter, if you speculate in the blog”

    That probably help.

  • ORANGUTAN

The goverment the police and the minister Botak is really a threat to the rakyat..
Dont start all the nonsence again.

  • DIGP, instead of nabbing the racist Ahmad Ismail, you gave ‘police protect’ to journalist Tan, brought her in police custody under ISA, Is that the best you can do? Did you get your police training from UMNO institution. No wonder Malaysia is such a dangerous place to live.

  • To poster Khir above:

Of course the PeeM knows he is the cause of the current malaise, but do you expect him to ISA himself?LOL.

  • Ok ok, let me speculate something else then.

Why Deputy IGP gets so busy with national politics? Hmmm… inspiration… inspiration… the keyword is “deputy”! He must have fought so hard in his whole career using the jungle rules of UMNO regime. And he has reached the “deputy”. One more step to the very top of PDRM. And Anwar comes along and changing the rules… “No more jungle rules??? How am I going to survive and ‘redeem’ what I deserve???”

Speculation, speculation. And this is not about government change, ok?

  • And Kenneth puts it rightly – hunger strike is the only option for the food sucks. And without any hope under ISA, it at least gives the person some dignity by not submitting.
