Well, I’ll admit that medical records are supposed to be confidential. I’m not sure how it all leaked out, but I’m still very suspicious about the police’s reaction to this whole matter.
The report of a doctor ruling out that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had been sodomised is an attempt to sabotage police investigations, said Deputy Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar.
He also stated that the report was aimed at confusing the public in relation to the sodomy allegation against PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Ismail was commenting about the report which was published in Malaysiakini as well as in other blogs including Malaysia Today.
According to nstonline, he said the police are considering investigating a “news website and a blog over their reports.”
However, Ismail declined to comment on the medical report itself, saying investigations were ongoing.

You want to investigate the leakage of confidential documents fine, but you better be just as enthusiastic about determining the truth contained inside the medical report.
The public would stand for all this nonsense anymore, when will they get it?

I share the concerns for Dr. Mohammed Osman’s safety, and questions as to why the mainstream press is so silent on this issue. Ternganga?
Yes, I am concerned for the doctor, too. Btw, can someone tell me whether the police admit seeing Bala after the first SD? I find it very strange that when his house broken into, news report stated only the cpu was missing. Then after a few days the neighbour claimed that keys to Bala’s gate or house was handed to him by police. If that is correct then how did the police got hold of the keys?
Something is fishy here. Please ensure that the public know about Bala’s house breaking. Seems that all this is a setup by police in order to protect those involved in the Mongolian murder. I repeat, find ways to let the rakyst know what is exactly going on.

The police should be arresting Saiful now of malicious falsehood and charge him in Court! Saiful should not have made a police report in the first place knowing very well it is false.
The revelation of the medical report clearly indicate that saiful
has conspired with people of power to try to put Anwar to jail again.
I suggest that PKR try and get the good doctor to do his bit for God and country and make a public statement about the Police attempts at “coercing” him to change the medical report.
All Top officers who have acted partially favoring the current administration, should have their actions and statements recorded. These officers, should be made answerable for their deeds. The shadow cabinet, should take note of this and rid these tainted officers so as to establish a clean PDRM worthy of its name…to serve the rakyat and the nation.
IMHO, if the leakage is to expose a crime, the leak itself is ‘not a crime’. Same reason as why there are laws to reward and protect whistle-blowers in many countries. But, in C4Land, only criminals protection matters.

Yes, I’m too concern for Dr Mohammed Osman’s safety. I hope this matter is highlighted in a big way so that everyone is aware of the situation. We need to help our Dr Mohammed. He is a good doctor and is on the side of truth and has moral fortitude although he may be castigated by the system once the public starts to probe the events.
Dr Mohammed took the ethically correct course of action and did the right thing, before feeling the pressures of loyalty and solidarity.
For Malaysians, this episode should allow the opportunity to question our BN government as to how people who have chosen a profession dedicated to healing are asked to participate in activities that oppose those principles and how the system can be changed to prevent future episodes.
With all do respect, I think pro-DSAI bloggers have overextended their stay in cyberspace. Your constant speculation is not doing any good for the country. It’s running us into the ground and I think it’s time for you all to just stop being selfish quit the fueling the political drama. The police and AG is a laughgstock to the whole world.
This is an international case.
If they are smart – they quickly send Saiful home n charge him with making a false report.
My main concern is whether the medical report is a valid report or not. Before this RPK made a statement saying that he has a recorded conversation between him and Saiful’s friend who accompanied him to see Najib. Now, what happened to the recording? The noise seems to shift to another ‘hot news’ right now.
So before we make such a noise about this, i suggest we wait for the verification of the medical report.
The media mainstream is not silent about it, they reveal it in the news at 8 and midnight at most media mainstreams.
Nat, if the you are suspicious with the police, i might be as well feel the same. Not just that, my curiosity also lies on the sudden of RPK involved in the Anwar’s sodomy case. He was previously with his SD, busy attacking Najib. Now he is backing Anwar up. Could be a guy who been paid to set problems for the current government.
have you guys seen the medical report?.the writing on it is hardly undertstandable.let alone the medical terms used by the doctor in the report.even the “O” caused us many speculations over the meaning of it.this might be an attempt to confuse us public of the ongoing case.
furthermore,why the need to undergo check-up at HKL afterwards?.also who did the “transalation” on the medical report?

The leak of report is unethical but I’m sure many Malaysians welcome all the proofs to show your dark side. There may be another more ‘official’ report. So what? We’ve lost our faith in you long ago. Why haven’t you all step down?
