6 arrested during anti-fuel hike peace walk today

I’m informed that they are being held at Dang Wangi police station, Bob Kee among them apparently (despite best attempt to clarify, I got the wrong Bob sorry)
I’m also told there is a video of some beatings; we’ll keep an eye out for that.
I’m heading over there now (about 730pm, 26/8), where there is a candle-light solidarity gathering. I always feel a special responsibility to anyone held there.

The Hindraf 5 are still languishing in Kamunting - along with all those who have been in there more than 6 years! Clearly the BN won’t budge on their repressive stance. They’re fighting tooth and nail to stay in power like a frightened beast, and foaming at the mouth. Watch out for those poisonous fangs, folks. We’ll have to lasso them from the rear and immobilize them while RPK distracts them with his frontal assault! They’re so desperate they’re resorting to sodomy charges against Anwar again!!!! Pathetic bankruptcy of ideas…
