Dear Datuk Seri Anwar – Why would you wanna work with DAP when they can’t even get their house in order ala Batu Gajah Mess?

nat: all parties have their problems, let’s try to be patient with one another and see how things stand come nomination day. let’s not give up hope that unity will prevail!

  • Oldmantalks

Yes, all parties have their problems. It is not patience that is required, but capability to solve all these problems. Yet DSAI expected a fellow winning member to vacate his seat to accommodate him to enter parliament. How can loyalty be earned by this way?
Before the Opposition ship can set sail on a united journey, there are already many leaks. Please plug these leaks as quickly as possible. There are quite a lot of neutrals out there. Don’t let them make a different decision from yours.

nat: i think many KeADILan members will happily and voluntarily step aside without having to be pushed out – i would. The party is not made out self-centered individuals. We understand the need to see the bigger picture, and the importance of having that voice in Parliament.

  • Oldmantalks

I am very sure your party has a lot of young and talented members, Tian Chua,CW Ong, yourself and many others and none is self-centred, but why you downplay yourself that you or any one cannot be the voice in parliament. I agree that the importance of that voice must be upheld. You overlook the possibility that, that voice may be the governing voice.
There is bound to be a by-election sometime in the future, so DSAI can have patience and await his turn. If not for his impatience to become PM ,he could be the current PM.

    Oldmantalks:
“There is bound to be a by-election sometime in the future, so DSAI can have patience and await his turn. If not for his impatience to become PM ,he could be the current PM.”

So, indirectly u r saying it was his fault that he was being impatient and therefore he deserved what he got , sent to prison for years etc ….?
If he was more patient, he would had been one of the half past six cabinet ministers like those in the current caretaker government who only know how to say Yes . This reminds us how Pak Lah got promoted to the DPM’s position but in terms of his capability, i leave it to public to judge.
On why other elected candidates should vacate their seats for DSAI to contest in a by-election……if we look at the bigger pic, we need him to lead the rests (at least the keadilan MP) He has always been seen as a symbol of unity of all opposition parties. Therefore, in the parliamentary seating ,he should continue to lead the charge.
PKR, please play our national anthem Negaraku after each ceramah , tell the public that patriotism is not about just voting for BN , if you still love the country, save it by using the powerful vote, the time is now !!!

  • if somebody is willing to give dsai a seat – what’s the big deal? doesn’t that show that politicians in the party are willing to give way and to cooperate with each other rather than engage in petty verbal war and backbiting behind each other’s backs?

here you are oldmantalking about cooperation and real loyalty within a party. well, this is it.

    Oldmantalks,
Not long ago a certain ADUN was asked to vacate a seat just so that an MP could be made and MB. Why can’t the PM then simply pick from the many existing ADUNs and made him/her MB? A precedent was made, no rules broken, and the MB went on and hand over Putrajaya to PM! A strong opposition front requires capable leader to keep BN on toes.

  • Oldmantalks, by saying “If not for his impatience to become PM ,he could be the current PM”, it’s obvious that you are one of the victims of the (unfortunately) “successful” spin of the MSM as part of Dr. M’s conspiracy to oust DSAI at all costs, including exploiting what remained in our judiciary. It’s so obvious by now, especially after the Lingam tape scandal. So, wake up please, if it’s too late.

Why DSAI should be our PM? Are there anybody else?I beleived in Pakatan but i argued DSAI.He made a big mistake in 97 98 economy crisis when accepting world bank offer.but fortunately Tun made other decision..Sometimes a good speaker doesnt mean the person is a good thinker..In my opinion,DSAI is seeking revenge.and remember, people with revenge would do anything and in the end something that is not good might happen.
