Aiyoyo … the English of the interviewer is like that one ah!

  • We watched the video.

The whole interview was spoilt by the poor performance of the host of the show, Dato Cheah.Firstly his command of the english language is so poor that his line of questioning appears amateurish.

Han Chiang TV should serve itself better by getting better interviewer. It does not need to be one with Datukship. Viewers want someone who can articulate himself or herself better especially on topics such as politics, economy etc.

It looks pretting embarrassing. The interviewer could have conducted the interview in Chinese instead of his poor english.

Sometimes you wondered how did DSAI able to understand the language, it sounds like English, it looks like English, is it really English?

It’s a bloody embarassment, his English is atrocious. He practically spolied the interview.

I disagree with Dato Seri Anwar’s promise to reduce and control the price of petrol if the opposition wins the election. In my opinion, by reducing dependency on government subsidy for petrol, Malaysians would finally be forced to realise the importance of reducing pollution.
How often have I encountered Malaysians littering without guilt? How often have I seen staff in my college drive to work everyday when the students can walk instead (its only a 10-minute walk by the way)? How often have I seen Malaysians leave the engine running on a hot afternoon at least 5 minutes before getting in just so they won’t feel too sticky? Countless!!
So I think it’s time we change our ways. By increasing petrol price, the future generation would have a chance to inhabit a cleaner earth. Then maybe, local car makers would start switching to diesel engines. Come on people, we’ve got to face the fact that this earth is extremely polluted!
I understand Dato Seri Anwar made that promise to reduce the burden of Malaysians but maybe suffering financially right now (yes, I am aware the economy isn’t doing so well) would reap great benefits in the long run. I hope if the opposition wins the election, making the environment cleaner would be their top priority alongside their fight against corruption.

nat: hey nib :) i agree that in the long run, things like renewable energy will be more important than cheap petrol – you’re right on there :) but right now, high petrol prices are being used to subsidise corruption. again tho, the final solution is alternative energy and better environmental policies, you’re correct. for now, we have to defend the rakyat on many different fronts.
