The Flaws of the Opposition

Finally completed my ‘magnum opus’ on the state of the Opposition over at bolehland :P

I’ve actually written even more, but will need to edit the rest, somewhat less readable stuff. I’ll print both pieces here later.

It’s good that you can see a perspective that the Opposition just cannot see, they are not united and being weak, they are incapable of defeating the BN government. I like to remain apolitical, as I have no ambitions of being in politics. You are seeking ways from anyone to assist in defeating BN. Surely, you can see that the BN leaders are doing all they can to help the Opposition.
MIC leader is doing all he can to shoot himself in the foot
MCA leaders are reminding us of racial clashes, the PORT KLANG free trade zone affair, a YB desired to be an actor, etc
UMNO leaders chasing citizens out of the country, poking the keris at non-Bumi, fighter jets, submarine and even C4.
What more does the Opposition need? The BN is the unseen hand assisting the Opposition to win the General Elections

  • Thanks, we need more “common sense” & “mature” articles like this.

There was something interesting you said about the “people” in this country… I would like to use the words:
    - mentality
    - character (principles, morals, conscience, action)

I always tell people, “why be so hard on the opposition?” Btw, where does the opposition “people” come from.

    What is their “nature” ?
What has shaped them – “nurture”?
How many are people of “transition?” (very few…)

When people migrate & run away from this country, its not only the governement & institutions that they factor in before they make their decisions. They also look at the “people” & “their capability”…. is there hope? Track record has not been good… 50 years!

Not that they are perfect, but if the same things here we’re to have happened in France (for example), they would be a revolution… & you don’t even need to wait 50 years for it.

Too many Malaysians, are just too self centered, kiasu(takers), afraid, live in mediocrity, etc.

(Some believe that there is insufficient critical mass)

The rest of us can just fight on!

I sincerely hope that PKR & DAP work together towards a great vision of Malaysia. “Following through” on the manifesto & promises is crucial.
