Looks like there might be a movement to boycott major newspapers – will try to keep all updated.
If we truly had free enterprise as Zam, et al claim we do, most major newspapers would be dead, outcompeted by better dailies. As things stand the Sun is the only decent daily out there, and it is (as far as I know) a money-losing entity.
Great if someone can start a campaign to boycott the major newspapers. I had in fact stopped buying the NST and The Star newspapers for several months now. The Sun is the only local newspaper that I read.

P.S. I quit reading the mainstream media ages ago.
Gerakan Anti Salah Maklumat (Gasak) is campaigning to boikot some major newspapers. (See posting in m2day).
As an extension to this, I would suggest that we boycott or at least buy last the products advertised in these newspapers.
