It’s late, but I just wanted to say that my thoughts are with them.. :(

  1. Just saw some pix taken at batu caves in screen shots. FRU and damn police locked up a few thousand and shot tear gas into the temple compound and how the hack they are suppose to disperse when they’ve been locked up. The marginalised Malaysians are treated worst than the palestinians by the Israelists,. The next time any body in this country speak about mistreatment of palestinians spit at their face because this government doesn’t treat their citizen any better.

  2. This morning, I stopped my newspaper man from delivering newspapers i.e. Star, NST & Malay Mail to my house. I decided not to waste my money anymore reading crap and lies every day.

I will miss reading the sports section though :)

  3. Taken vertbatum from the SUN online version:
“KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26, 2007): Police personnel were pelted with bricks and stones early Sunday morning when they tried to disperse a crowd at Batu Caves temple, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.

He said the temple committee called police about 2am after about 1,000 people entered the grounds and damaged property. The crowd ignored orders to disperse but instead fled into the temple main premises. “My men were pelted with bricks and stones when they went in to look for them. Several policemen were injured.

A bus was also razed after a Molotov cocktail was thrown into it. “At no time was there any force used including water cannons or tear gas in and around the temple,” Musa said in a statement late Sunday.

On the gathering at Jalan Ampang, he said police exercised maximum restrain and only used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd and there was no body contact. He said police had wanted to allow the rally leaders to hand over the memorandum but they arrived only at 1.30pm, gave a speech and left………………………………..”

It appears that the IGP was blatantly lying, there are many photos of bodily contact, in one a plain clothed policeman is shown kneeling on a man’s neck, this is potential lethal (recently a man was killed at an airport in Canada when the police knelt on his neck)
There are also photographs of tear gas and water cannon being used at the Batu Caves Temple.

There is also an unconfirmed report of a 20 year old man being found dead (see Police Watch web site)

Most likely the IGP was also not truthful about the other things he mentioned in his report.

Clearly there was excessive and totally unnecessary used of force in Kuala Lumpur on Bloody Sunday, the 25 November 2007.

  4. Ditto that, I felt sick after reading both NST and Star.
Way too many lies to be handled in a day.

  5. AT least nobody got killed like in Palastein. The police didi a good job to prevent another racial riot. Otherwise we will have NEP version 2. The Malaysian gov may be doing injustice through NEP but the truth is it’s still not as bad as the Isreali because otherwise the 2nd richest man in Malaysia would not be an Indian and there will be no Indian cabinet minister to ‘corrupt’ money for themselves.

  6. Hindraf leaders are the Real heroes today. I am not so sure of term they used but never the less they stuck their necks out knowing very well the consequences. Good on you and may the Lord give you and your family the strength during this difficult times. God will always be with the oppressed and the poor. The Indians next battle will be to kick out the corrupt Samy vellu and drunkard subra who continue to betray and divide the Indians. They are partly responsibile for the current problems. It is time for ACTION not lectures.
