Wow, I didn’t realise the NST was stupid enough to show just how scared and desperate BN was after the Bersih rally.
I wasn’t aware earlier, but I sure am now.
I mean, really, how is that for a headline?
Jokes aside, are you a newspaper, or a leaflet being handed out by a political party?
I don’t believe you also shamelessly put: “Nazri: Rally work of ’pondan’”
Can you think of a single first world nation where members of parliament go around calling people pondans? As if Zam hasn’t made Malaysia a complete laughing stock already, you want to keep publicising our most humiliating ‘leaders?’
And trust me, I would rather be a pondan than be Nazri. Any day of the week.
And just in case you’re trying to bring up the whole Anwar is a sodomiser bullshit (do you have any idea how loose a politically interested case must be to be thrown out of a Malaysian court the way that one was?), I hope the NST won’t forget what happened to its circulation during reformasi.
I wish I had the numbers at hand (anyone?) but it vaguely remember something like Harakah (yes, Harakah), had a circulation of about 5 times what NST had.
Can you imagine?
Well, that’s what happens when you print lies and lame propaganda.
It comes down to dignity doesn’t it?
Journalistic dignity, human dignity.
But if you editors want to go on licking ass (seriously. sympathetic views I might even be able to understand, but ‘yawn?’ ‘pondan’?) in exchange for a little comfort… I guess there’s not much we can do about it.
Your soul is your own to prostitute, I suppose.

I can’t believe i would be saying this, but hey i wholeheartedly agree that its better to be pondon, than be Nazri XD
Wahlau, the headline really was Yawn, rally just ‘a waste of time’. OMFG, the editor, forced to do it or what?
One note about Nazri, most of the cabinet ministers don’t seem to bother to attend parliament but Nazri? As Minister in PM’s department, is it part of his job description to be a jerk in Parliament as well?
Anyway, the stuff people get away with in Parliament. Sigh.
I thought Pak Lah could have at least tell them to shut up for a while.. Shows how incompetent he is again. At least play follow the leader, then you won’t have too many foot in mouth issues.
Here is the youtude link, i really feel for Mr.Lim having to argue with samseng like our ministers……>
Nat, I’m with you on Nazri’s imbecilic remarks, but can we also stop repeating the derogatory term in our criticisms of him as well? Can we instead also call out the minister for propagating negative attitudes toward the transgender/transsexual communities amongst us? It might be better to be anything than the minister, but let’s not buy into his denigration of a group whose rights and dignity are trampled on enough as it is.
tx for comments guys!
fiona: please pardon any insensitivities. i was trying, however unsuccessfully, to put said group in a positive light.
i do lose track a little bit as to which terms are derogatory and which worn with pride these days, but for what it’s worth, i meant absolutely no disrespect – only all courtesy that is due any human being.
thank you for your concern, and i agree that the rights and dignities of this community should be vigorously defended.
I call upon the electorates in Nazri’s constituency to not vote for him. That goes with mamak Zam’s and the many baruahs.
