Artice in the Star today – ‘Stay away or face arrest’ -
“Anyone who takes part in the illegal gathering on Nov 10 at Dataran Merdeka to demand for a “fair and clean” general election will be arrested.
Police will not hesitate to pick up anyone seen in the area where 100,000 people are expected to congregate from 3pm. ” said City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Zul Hasnan Najib Baharudin.
“If they want to submit a memorandum, they have the right to do so, but they don’t need a large group to do that.
“They can go to Istana Negara to hand over the memorandum but there must be fewer than 10 people,” DCP Zul Hasnan said, adding that a large number of people would cause unnecessary traffic congestion.
He said those who participated in the illegal assembly would be arrested under Section 27(5) of the Police Act 1967.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat is said to be the main organiser of the gathering.

PKR could have boycotted the Ijok by-election if the electoral system was indeed THAT faulty.
NO. PKR thought it could win by playing the racial + character assassination card.

1. A opposition party has boycotted the rally. Hints? Unregistered party with a pretty respectable grassroots following
2. Rally mooted by PAS during 2007 Muktamar. Some two individuals/groups have hijacked the event in succession. Hints? A former full minister followed by a supposingly Christian royalty
3. Bersih funds are not ‘bersih’. Heard of International R_p_bl_c_n Institute?
