Sigh, can’t even get their stories straight.
Well, I’m all for clearing up corruption, and figures of up to almost RM 9 million are pretty serious.
But sketchy submarine commissions to Razak Baginda worth RM 540 million is some sixty times more serious.
As if to drive home his arrogant sense of invulnerability this very same day, Najib is out there officiating said submarines in France, where they love him almost as much as they do in Russia (don’t forget, our space tourism was part of a Sukhoi jet purchasing deals worth hundreds upon hundreds of millions – a bulk of which I’m sure went into commissions).
Reminds me of a common ceramah joke: taking a 50 ringgit bribe is Corruption, taking a RM 500 million bribe is Commission :P
Catching fish is fine, but not if it comes at the expense of catching big fish.
It’s a little like how jails are full of petty thieves who’ve stolen clothes and food, but those whose thievery and insatiable greed forced the rakyat into desperate poverty laugh and make merry freely without a care in the world.
This is the same ACA, mind, that’s now out for Anwar’s blood (see Malaysiakini), while completely ignoring and failing miserably to even contact VK Lingam, Tun Fairuz, Vincent Tan, Tengku Adnan, etc…

Lingamgate erupting on the heels of the disgraceful Altantuya Shaariibuu mock trial has shaken BN to its rotten roots and Umno leaders are up to their songkoks in their own filth. That’s why ACA goons are being sent around to intimidate Anwar and PKR. If I were Najib I’d be shivering in my underpants too. One tiny slip and he loses not just his political career – but his personal freedom too. That’s why it’s IMPERATIVE the Malaysian Judiciary remain as corrupt as possible – otherwise these could well be the last days of the obnoxious Umnoputras…
