“No response”? “Not heard from anyone”? Mob reveals all!
Wasn’t this supposed to be an “investigation” panel? Not a “let’s chill and wait for guilty people to come forward and implicate themselves” panel.
Call me paranoid, but I feel like the NST and The Star are spinning it to sound as if they are so earnest in their waiting, but boo hoo hoo, no one wants to come forward.
NST:
After three weeks, not a single person has got in touch with the secretariat of the independent panel to shed light into the authenticity of a video clip allegedly detailing a conversation about judicial appointments between a judge and a lawyer.
Panel chairman Tan Sri Haidar Mohamad Noor said the secretariat in Putrajaya had not called him.
“I suppose no one has come forward to assist us,” he said.
No one has come forward to give information on the video clip featuring a senior lawyer allegedly brokering the appointment of judges.
Three weeks have passed since the Government set up an independent panel to verify the authenticity of the video clip.
Panel chairman Tan Sri Haidar Mohd Noor said that until yesterday, the panel’s secretariat – the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department – had yet to report to him.
“I take it that nobody has come forward. If anybody had come forward, I’m sure the secretariat would have alerted me,” he told The Star.
Can you imagine if the police were like this?
“Yes, we are investigating the crime…… by warming these very nice chairs here.
“Surely the criminals and multiple witnesses will feel so obliged to come forward and help give such helpful information to solve some crimes. Erm.”
(1 month later)
“What? No one’s come forward… oh…. how tragic….. erm…. case unsolved I guess…..”
Sigh. Luckily people like Mob have a pretty damn good idea on how the panel are spending their time.

The moment I saw that they had no power to compel people to come and testify I knew it was an exercise in futility.
Can we have a Royal Commission instead?
Mr. Wee was briefly mentioned on the tape. If he lost out because of a fix by the CJ then he needs to sue their rear ends.
I also saw his speech on recent video clip.

I won’t be surprised of many other SOL cases that were manipulated by the CJ.
For the sake of opposition, I strongly support his comeback. Let’s do it, Opposition Front. It is healty to have more oppositions in order to be effective in the Parliment.
Belum cuba belum tau. Sudah cuba baru tau.
