I wonder how did the District Engineer react upon receipt of this letter. Probably went along with it. Otherwise, he would get transferred to a small town and/or not get his scale upgraded timely.
To tell the truth, even if these “penyokong/simpati parti pembangkang” get their licenses, there is no gurantee they’ll get contracts/requisitions with the JKR. It is SOL case.
I would love to hear Semi Value comment on this.
it has been going on for ages but this time around somebody is squealing. these UMNO fellows really are a mess up lot; mixing politics with business. if dishing out contracts based on political affiliation ( in this instance they are from the ruling party) is not corruption, then I dont know what is.
its no different from those sitting in influential positions dishing out government contracts to their relatives. its corruption, aint it?
