Egoistic, cock-sure Nazri seems to think he is the Chief Justice’s boss or something.
Completely undeserving of the post though Tun Fairuz may prove to be, the position of Chief Justice is not answerable to a minister, least of all a dinky, loud-mouthed one.
Nazri and his unholy gang forget that they do not rule the Judiciary, they rule along with it.

I thought the Chief Justice is answerable to no one but his own conscience. Or to Allah and the King who appointed him. Here’s a little to think about from the Guide of Judicial Conduct published by the Judges’ Council of the United Kingdom:
2 JUDICIAL INDEPENDENCE
2.1 Judicial independence is sometimes mistakenly
perceived as a privilege enjoyed by judges, whereas
