AG: No Criminal Offence, Najib: CGI :|

The man who prosecuted DS Anwar on the CJgate video, via NST:

No criminal offence appears to have been committed in a video recording of a telephone conversation between a well-known lawyer and senior judge allegedly discussing appointments to the Bench, the attorney-general said.

Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail said the lawyer was in a monologue over his mobile phone and it was unclear who he was talking to.

“There is no clear reference that he was talking to a top judicial officer,” he said.

Najib via Malaysiakini:

The government will first confirm the authenticity of the ‘VK Lingam’ video before deciding on the next course of action, said Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today.

He also said that it was important to establish the veracity of the footage “before jumping to any conclusion”.

Modern day technology can also be abused and fabricated. So before we conclude anything let us establish whether there is basis or not,” he told reporters.

“We have to establish it first. Then whatever it is, we will decide at the next stage,” he said.

Especially with the Yee Yang Yang case still going on, I am reminded of the UPM bullying video and how that nincompoop Nik Mustapha tried to say that the harassers were only “singing school songs.”

What authenticity is there to confirm?

If that is not VK Lingam, who is he?

If he wasn’t talking to Tun Fairuz, who was he talking to?

Why Najib, you think we suddenly got the budget to do high quality CGI?

Evidence speaks for itself. Did you watch the video? Read the transcript?

Next they will say that this was an actor talking to himself.

:|

If fixing the appointment of judges is not criminal, then the word “criminal” has no meaning in Malaysia.

Then again, this is Abdul Gani Patail, the man who with a straight face, prosecuted Anwar Ibrahim for sodomy.

Sigh.

Seriously, hating the injustice in this country is not enough.

Najib and Gani only dare say these thinks because they think they are invincible.

They think they can (literally) get away with murder.

They think that just because they control the tv and the papers, that the rakyat are just far too stupid to ever vote them out.

As long as you vote Barisan, this is what we’re going to get.

(trust me, it makes no difference how many Gerakan flers you put in there).

MORE importantly, this is what we’re going to get if you don’t make the effort to vote!

Don’t simmer in your anger. Don’t wallow in your indignation.

ps- Randomly, I need a French translator for something real quick (french-english). Can help by any chance? Thanks!

give you a great clue, dear AG. this lingam guy was hallucinating and talking to himself. how about that, AG? meantime, you and the CJ can go about thinking and planning how to insidiously replace the common law with your brand of syariah law gradually. wait, and make sure you and the CJ are not caught in cameras doing that. afteral, you have to change the prosecutors who were seen to be playing badminton with the judge, didnt you?

  • that lingam guy talking to himself? man! what a creative answer.. he should be in the entertainment business or be a stand up comedian…what next? the video clip is OSA classified?

  • Tim

If he were talking to himself, then shouldn’t he be in Tanjung Rambutan?

  • meltingpot

That’s what you get from instituitionalised mediocrity. Idiots running the country!

Everything can be swept under the carpet in bolehland. Next steps maybe OSA, ISA and etc act vs DSAI.

Positive thing about this video, at least shown muhibah spirits still exists in this country. Mutli-racial,i.e. Malay, Indian and Chinese can work together to get things done.

I am sick and tired of all Msian politikus pemerintah of boleh-land… They think they will die and stay in heaven ! Hell no !! They will be in the Day of Judgement and they can run away from the fact of the God AlMighty. I hate Mzian politics scenarios. If you try to ask boleh-land pemerintah with facts, they said you are traitor or opposition party, that is totally bull shit ! We need to change the government once and for all !! All Malaysian ! Vote Vote Vote against BN !!

Sigh, registering to vote won’t mean you get to vote. I registered in April this year but I’m still not eligible to vote. Fella at the post office told me it takes about 3 months for the process but when I checked again about a month ago they now say it could take 9 months or more.

Also, why does the election commission need me to state down my race and religion as I register, makes me wonder if electors are being vetted out by propensity to vote for the incumbent.
