:(
Big part of the reason this tragedy happened:

Is because the police are always too busy spying on people like me:

:( :(
I think I will start photographing all SB I see covering us instead of catching criminals. Remember, this guy struck twice before. He’s struck three times now, because we couldn’t catch him.

Dear Nat,
How are you doing?
A reminder from Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ) about an important day- 28th September is the International Right to Know Day. The aim of the Right to Know Day is to raise awareness of every individual of their right of access to public information: the right to know how elected officials are exercising power and how taxpayers’ money is being spent.
We hope that you will participate in this global event to raise awareness among your audience, by giving the occasion a noticeable visibility. Suggestions for topics you can bring up in your blog on 28th September-
1. Freedom of Information Act vs. Official Secrets Act. – There are now 69 nations which legally allow access to classified information. The latest entry into the league is China, who agreed to pass a law partly modeled after the FOIA. More info about FOIA in http://www.freedominfo.org/.
2. Media freedom issue- media blackout, media bias etc – they essentially mean that the reader does not have free and fair access to information. The Terengganu shooting is an example.
For your information, CIJ will be leafleting with other NGOs, such as the Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA, Empower, BERSIH on 28th September at Masjid Jamek and Putrajaya.
Thanks
Wai Fong

Dear girl,
May you rest in peace…
To those in charge of public security, from the minister downward, if you cannot do your job, please go.
these days malaysia is like a living hell.internally…corrupted goverment, justice department, pdrm, immigration and the list goes on.externally…rape cases, snatch thief, mutilated body, charred body,c4-ed body and now this innocent girl sexually assaulted.
we are lucky we don’t have many natural disasters but we are surrounded by man made disasters…what a shame!
my deepest condolence to Nurin’s family and friends and may her soul rest in peace
Nat, Maybe you’re the serial molestor/rapist they were looking for. You might be in the No 1 suspect list, so they patrol around you. Who knows? U sure look like a pervert. hehehehhehe
Just Kidding.
i think SB is an intel unit – they are the unit to go to for information on potential threat to national security, gangster ism, secret society etc.
they have a serious crime unit that takes care of enforcement – which apparently they FAILED in their duties miserably.
one reason i can think of why u have SB sitting outside your office is – they are OVERSTAFF! so the logical thing to do is to redeploy them to menial stuffs like monitoring non threatening subjects so that they can justify the extra head count and also since our police force is so lowly paid this is a good opportunity for them to earn some OT! make sense?
another possible scenario is this must be retired officer – unlike other advance country where retired people can work in macdonald or as “jaga” these people find that such job is beyond them so they ask the agency to recruit them as part timer – this way they get to sit around doing nothing (ok so maybe they do need to write reports) and still get paid.
Pour this little girl..and salam takziah for her family. I hope people out there – please don’t blame her family for this tragic insident. They are very suffer right now..if you want to point out someone -I hope you know who they are.
Nat…hope we can do something for this
Dear NAT,
Please be aware that you are living in a great Malaysia. The government are trying thier best to make Malaysia a better place, but sometime there are few people that lack of awareness.. dont blame those SB or police. They did the right things to watch blogger like you who speak without thinking about other people and races. So please do your homeworl before you write in your blog.
