Fully supporting the lawsuit by family of dead NS trainee
My only addition is that the family should sue Najib “Bloody Hands” Razak - 13 NS deaths, 74 Nuri deaths, and goodness knows what other unsolved mysterious deaths under the watch of this “Defence” Minister..
This latest one was because despite the hundreds of MILLIONS he could pay his cronies for commissions on fighter jets and submarines, he literally couldn’t even afford to keep animal shit out of our children’s food.

The sister of a trainee who died while undergoing National Service (NS) training filed a more than RM10 million suit against the camp commandant and the government today.
Jubaidah said on Aug 24, her brother telephoned her and said he was suffering from a bout of fever but was not given medical attention.
She said that a week later, her brother informed her that he was still suffering from fever and swelling on his leg, which he attributed to a fall during training earlier.
She said he told her he was only given pain killers by the staff at the camp.
Jubaidah claimed that she contacted an officer at the camp to enquire about her brother’s health and the steps taken to attend to his condition, but was instead scolded by the officer.
Mohd Rafi’s condition worsened and he was taken to the Kemaman Hospital.
When Jubaidah contacted the hospital, she was told he was in serious condition and had to be transferred to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan.
She said the hospital authorities told her Mohd Rafi could have consumed food which had been contaminated by animal droppings.
However, Mohd Rafi died while en route to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital at about 9pm on Sept 1.
Jubaidah claimed as a result of the camp commandant’s negligence to ensure the safety and health of the trainees, Mohd Rafi died after a great deal of suffering.
She also alleged that he had neglected to take the necessary prompt measures to attend to her brother’s repeated requests for medical attention.
The statement said according to the post-mortem dated Sept 2, the cause of death was leptospirosis with septicaemia – an infection caused by bacteria transmitted by animal urine or faeces.
His vision had become blurred by then and everything he saw seemed yellowish.
Jubaidah said she called up the camp officer again and queried why her brother had been denied medical attention.
She said that the officer still maintained that the boy was well and forbade her from taking him for treatment.
“My brother called me again after that saying he was vomiting and in great pain.
“He pleaded for me to go to him as soon as possible. It was only at 10pm that night (Aug 31) that he was sent to the Kemaman Hospital,” (Jubaidah) said.
Jubaidah said her brother managed to contact her at the hospital stating that he was already vomiting blood and had breathing difficulties.
The hospital then informed the family that Mohd Rafi’s condition was critical and his condition was most probably caused by consumption of animal faeces.
The hospital decided to transfer Mohd Rafi to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan at 9pm on Sept 1, but he died on the way

remember each intake there’s proble with transportation. reason, the contracts are awarded to nominee companies (cronies) who then sub-contract to bus operators. the same with other components such as food supplies, i guess.
the gravy train is too good, my friend, to stop this NS service. afterall, ONLY 14 has died and these deaths are just part statistics.
wonder what I would do when my kids turn come. Do I get recourse fom the courts to enable me to stop sending my kid to the russian roulette game?
I doubt that it will succeed, but this alone should be a reason to oust Najib.

I know for a fact that UMNO is using the national service(NS) program to further plunder Malaysia, and enrich their cronies.
A good friend of my father, a very high-ranking executive in a national car company, owns one of the NS camps, and it is a very profitable business. The camp is not maintained properly, but the owner doesn’t care, because at the end of the day, he knows that he can get away with it. His only complaint is the annual “payments” or “contributions” that he has to make to certain people.
I personally believe that the NS is bullshit because Malaysia simply does not need it. We are not threatened by any significant military conflicts (our volunteer army is more than sufficient and capable of handling such threats), and the intention of ‘fostering racial/national unity’ through the NS program is a load of crap. Also, were we really prepared in the first place in implementing the NS program?
I’m just happy that none of my family members are required to undergo NS.
