Past MCA President: Throwing away RM 4.6 billion of the rakyat’s money is a good idea

The Star :

The plan to set up the Port Klang Free Zone to emulate Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone was a good strategic idea, said former Transport Minister Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik.

“The intention was to copy Jebel Ali Free Zone for the Asean region, which is good. If you find a good idea anywhere in the world you should bring it home to benefit the country,” he said.

Yeah, but I think the ideas that they have been copying are the corruption of Zimbabwe, the racial polarisation of the Balkans, etc..

4.6 BILLION.

I don’t care how much you love your cronies, Tun – that’s too much money for the rakyat to never see again.

I think this is the only time you’ll see true Umno-MCA-SPDP (SPDP is Tiong’s party, the Sarawak Bintulu MP who is the real principal benefactor of all this) cooperation – when it comes to covering each other’s corrupt asses.
