Things are going crazy with the prosecution’s ’star witness’ Lance Corporal Rohaniza Roslan.
Yesterday, the DPP’s accused her of giving testimony that contradicts her police deposition, and said they’ll be prosecuting her for perjury.
This certainly raises some eyebrows. It’s like purposely shooting oneself in the foot.
Why would the prosecution seek to disqualify their most important witness?
Is this like TS Eric Chia, where do prosecution is out to do anything but prosecute?
And then today! Now, I’ve only heard this through the grapevine (not thru politikus, don’t worry MK :) , so can’t exactly confirm it right now (should be evident in a bit), but I’ve just heard that Lance Corporal Rohaniza just testified that she had received a threat stating that if she were to testify in this case, she would be shot.

The lengths they’ll go through to shut this woman up!
By way of reminder, LC Rohaniza was originally one of the three accused who turned crown witness – as in she was offered clemency if she testified for the prosecution.
