Observe this very carefully chosen picture frontpaging The Star:

I’m sure you can see the strategically placed MCA woman (in yellow, third from left – anyone have a name?) trying to ‘stick it’ to her boss, DS Sharizat. Now that I look at it, they’re clearly to demonise KeADILan Women Chief Fuziah Salleh (5th from left) as being too friendly with her too.
What a crock of bull.
This of course, is the core of the ‘MCA dilemma,’ trying to paint themselves as “defenders” of the Chinese by every so often planting themselves on the other side of the divide (remember some of the toll protests?) for a few showy minutes.
Tell me, what has MCA or any BN MP come out to say in public on this issue? Have they *ever* proven themselves able to contain *any* of Umno’s excesses? Are they ultimately defenders or apologists?
The smiling Fuziah Salleh had the guts to come out with a no-holds-barred statement on this issue. Where is YB’s Ng Yen Yen or Chew Mei Fun? Effectively nowhere in sight is where.
It’ll take more than a sneaky picture to prove to the people that they are doing their part in this fight.
That lady in yellow should realise that she might as well ‘stick it’ to DS Ong Ka Ting. I swear it, the lack of foresight and vision on the part of DS Ong and the whole of MCA is perhaps the most responsible for propping up Umno’s supremacist free reign today.
Without the validation that MCA, MIC, etc provide every single day to this bigotted Umno government, they couldn’t possibly survive. It’s not quite a stretch to say that the only reason Dtk’s Said Yusof and Bung Mokhtar are still in power is because MCA lets them. As BN component members they should take full responsibility.
So, woman in yellow, and all those like her, please reconsider. If you’re at all serious about and committed to change, take the leap of faith, and together we can dislodge the dark side forever. Silly rude faces aren’t enough.

frizzy haired chick is Wanita MCA representative Felicia Ling :)

Yeah, I really hate the BN, hate them so much. Will vote against them next election after reading your blog. Terrible people, all of them. Terrible terrible. All so corupt, all want money only. All of them rude, disgraceful, stupid, incompetent. I really hate them. They are ruining Malaysia. Every single one of them. I agree, we should all stick it to them. Hate them. Thugs, bullies, goons, spineless cowards, all of them. Not a single decent person left in BN. All of them cari makan only. My family and I hate them so much. Malaysia deserves a change, I think all the Keadilan leaders are clean, clever, commited to a better Malaysia, non-racial, fighting for justice. All of them never fighting for the interest of one race. All of them are good people, willing to sacrifice so much for the country. The time has come for a change. Vote Keadilan!
When I saw that photo, i thought to aloud – was everyone, especially the minister, having a bad hair day???
i thought sharizat’s hair looked like a leftover from the dynasty era.
I hated the woman : Felicia Ling. She nearly ruin an counseling organisation i loved very much. Lucky she left.
I didn’t see her appeared in our newspaper for so long. I was extremely angry when i saw her face in malaysikini site.
Hate her! Hate MCA!
Hey, been in rural Victoria, haven’t had much internet access. So catching up on some old news =).
While i love the job you do, I must say that the discussion on this post seems taken WAY out of context. If what you are saying is based only on the antiques of the lady in yellow in the picture, then i strongly argue that you reconsider leaving this post up.
Imagine if a picture of you was taken while you were hotly debating with Anwar as to which charkuewtiao was the best in town, with the same gesture as the lady in yellow (“aiyah that charkuewtiao sucks la, *hand gesturing* u see they put so much oil in it”) and the next moment you see yourself in a prominent blog, with the title ‘Nat STICKS IT to Anwar’. Then next thing you know all chinese in PKR are blamed for every wrong move that PKR makes.
It would be quite unfair to you don’t u think?
Don’t get sucked into the underhand malaysian politic tactics. =).
*disclaimer* if you have proper proof of what the lady in yellow said at that time, then i retract my view and apologize. =) Remember to treat the issue, not the person (or party for that matter).
The lady in yellow, Felicia Ling is now a PKR person…=)
