Bocorkan Umno - stop the only real leakage that is killing Malaysia
Kudos to theSun, for frontpaging the bocor issue that the other papers tiptoed around. I’ll give minor credit to The Star for carrying this:
The general consensus among MPs was that it was all right to say “women leak every month.”
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz said Fong should have taken the matter in her stride.
“It is normal to play with words,” he said, adding that it would be wrong if the statement had been made with malicious intent.
Mohd Said said the statement was made in the heat of the argument.
“I don’t see what the fuss is about,” he said.
Fadillah Yusof (BN – Petra Jaya) said the backbenchers were provoked at that time.
Normal? Fuss? Provoked!? O_O !!!
What does it take, ladies and gents, to rid ourselves of such blatant sexism, discrimination, evasion of responsibility and complete lack of dignity or manners?

Can you imagine that ‘Yang Berhormats’ Dtk Mohd Said Yusof and Dtk Bung Mokhtar actually kiss their mothers, wives and daughters with that mouth?

Sometimes we don’t see voting for our favourite MCA, Gerakan or MIC candidate as voting for these guys in Umno.
But I plead with you to try and see the bigger picture. To make a long story short, probably something like 90% of people in all the other component parties - including all your favourite MP’s - will cross over to KeADILan when we take over power.
The only real enemy is Umno. The component parties know this too, and in many ways, they get the brunt of Umno’s boot (yet keep coming back for more, like an abusive relationship). All that they lack is the guts and vision the opposition has to take the first bold step.
But once Umno has been dislodged - and believe me, injustice will not reign forever - no one will clamour to have the party of arrogant discrimination and supremacists back in power. No more Said Yusof’s and Bung Mokhtars forever. No more last minute, shocking cancellations of forums aimed at promoting inter-religious harmony. No more racist remarks even 1000’s of miles away.
Voting for any BN MP is to chain him/her to an eternity of slavery under Umno and their naked bigotry.
Set your BN MP free. By choosing the Opposition today, you will be providing relief and liberation on a massive scale to both yourselves and that very same MP in the long run. It’s the only way to stop this culture of oppression.

Translation, “every month, Batu Gajah leak also”.
If you intepret this as sexism, than maybe you are the one who is sexist. The fact that the Yang Dipertua Speaker did no do anything to neither MP, shows its acceptable to say that in the noble house without the connotation of sexism attached to it.
Its how you see the glass, half full or half empty. Everyone can argue on this phrase till the cows come home. All falls back to how anyone sees the glass!

actually it’s quite normal for these Kampung folk to speak in such low , crude language.
In offices these days, you hear kampung ladies actually say ” saya nak pegi berak la ” or ” tak tahan nak kencing “.

If you think the phrase “A woman leaks every month” is politically correct, then perhaps you should also think that your mother leaks every month too, and that’s how you were born. Hey, no offence man, coz as you said, it’s how you see the glass - half empty or half full.
I was there during the argument and I want to clarify that the Speaker threw out Fong’s motion on technical grounds, not because he thinks there was nothing wrong with the phrase. He DID say he regretted the incident but he couldn’t do anything to enlarge the power of the Standing Order. BUT I feel that he should at least demanded for the MPs to retract what they said and apologise.
I agree that menstruation is nothing to be ashame of but if someone refers to it using derogatory words, then that person has no respect for women.
I suppose the MPs don’t give a hoot as to how they’re embarrassing the country. The news has also appeared in the IHT.

What has been said is all useless..tolerance,respect,etc when inequality btw races reigns.Know why,US&Australia, with so many races survives? Equal rights and opportunity!And that alone is pivotal although not the perfect solution b’cos u still hear of racial violence in these countries in their history, but the main thg is thru TRUE democracy(not like msia’s),evryone works hard n evryone get their chances..and thats how respect comes about..

But with the unfair NEP,where there’s quota in education to public service to banking to government contracts..do u seriously think a person who toils his heart out while someone else(malay race) takes his earnings away for themselves would have any respect for them(malay race)?Let’s not joke ourselves..If i’m a working class father who pays tax like evry1 else and my son isn’t awarded a scholarship juz bcos of the quota system, although he scores 13A’s while the malay friend just earned 5A’s..how wud u feel? Or better..if u hav a malay fren who’s ur best fren in ur life..d greatest person u have ever met..n he gets 5A’s while u get 13A’s..n he gets d scholarship to go to foreign uni to study..while u stay in malaysia to study..wat do u tink wud d malay fren say to his chinese fren..n wat do u tink will d chinese fren feel? I just think that for Malaysia to work..evryone have to work and earn his own dough..to hell with equal richness shared among d diff races. If ur capable den u deserve it..no one has the right to be envious of u..if ur not good enough..work harder and come back again. What I think should be done?
Freedom of rights and opportunity to everyone..It is inevitable..how long will it take..50years..100years..a 1000years? Or until some superpower or perhaps UN decides to invade msia n set thgs right? Haaa, I dunno when but I’m sure it’ll happen cos that’s d nature of tis world..d good always prevail..or rather the truth always prevail when all this senseless politicians are long dead and gone. I think the malays should also stop asking the Chinese or anybody else for that matter to respect their rights..cos u noe wat..respect needs to be earned..with the government protecting their [deleted]..respect??? NEVER…and those gutless people like MCA who only hav deep disrespect deep inside their hearts to the Malays but too cowardly for their own interest to stand up..that is what they’ll ever be..nothing more nothing less..Congratulations to Malaysia’s “competent” leaders!
I got no where to post this..so here goes.
P.S. This is the mind of an 18 year old Malaysian who’s fortunately OUT OF the country..I’ve no sense of patriotism because of all the injustice and discrimination I’ve witnessed and experienced since I was 9 years old. I feel sorry because I feel the passion to serve and b proud of some country..but when Malaysia comes to mind..i giv up the idea totally..Perhaps this sort of thing, will do lots of good to non-bumi youngsters, at least it frees us from the unfairness,injustice,discrimination,polarisation and marginalisation that have been so “blessed” upon our parents and ancestors..[deleted]
