brief update on tian chua, 8th march

After being sneaked into the magistrate’s court, the police have obtained a remand order that will enable them to hold Tian a little longer - until tomorrow, if I understand correctly. Kampung Berembang villagers, activists, party members and politicians (notably DS Wan Azizah, Dr. Syed Hussein and Dr. Hatta Ramli) were present to show solidarity.
