It’s 10am, and I guess Tian Chua, Ronnie Liu, Dr. Hatta Ramli and TS Khalid Ibrahim should be at Bukit Aman now, getting ready to answer questions.
A lot has been said on how blatantly ridiculous and morally wrong it is to use the OSA to hide corruption that is so clearly screwing the rakyat over – most likely just to benefit a bunch of heartless, unscrupulous fat cats. Am I wrong? Then reveal the documents and prove it. Always open to correction here.
Anyway, I don’t have too much of quality to add here/now (besides the obvious fact that I sokong those four guys, and fully support greater freedom of information over corruption and exploitation under a shroud of unethical secrecy). Note especially an outcry over double-standards re: the OSA.
Seems like a lot of topics are already pretty well covered these days. Gotta work harder to provide something unique.

It was easy for me to see who has said what using the new super-tool for keeping track of the blogosphere – kindly introduced to me by the lovely politikus: Google Reader!
A pretty cool app, that might make lots of aggregators obsolete.
Anyway, the following are links to some of my own ‘aggregator’ lists, if you wanna see some of the people I try to keep track of. The lists are evolving of course, with blogs changing categories and such:
- ‘Dedicated Writers‘ : hardcore sociopolitical (I think blogs have helped popularise this term. I was always scared to use it before!) bloggers, politician bloggers, famous people, etc..
- ‘Diversified Writers‘ : ‘part-time’ sociopolitical bloggers who often come up with really keen insight. I suspect many of these will eventually cross over onto the first list.
Hmm. I think the other list are rather under-developed for now, so just these two for the time being I guess. If you’re a blogger and don’t see yourself here, chances are I have you on another list already – and it’s all still very fluid!
Feedback on these lists is of course super-welcome. I briefly entertained fantasies of being the great Malaysian blog picker/’editor,’ but more likely you’ll just go out and build a list of your own :P :) I guess a list to these sorta pages may replace blogrolls and the like. But yeah, always happy to hear what you think :)

Hi Nat,
I guess it will be presumptuous to label myself a ‘diversified-writer’, but I just want to tell you about my blog. I have always wanted to blog (or actually, to have an avenue to air and share my opinions regarding economics, particularly local ones), and the case against Jeff and Rocky was clearly the tipping point that pushed me to start blogging.
http://elanortan.blogspot.com/
It is mostly short (and none-specialised) economic commentaries, particularly on some sad policies we have. I realised that there are not many economics blogs (actually, i can’t find any, except the occasional posts on Kay Peng and Tony P.) in the Malaysian blogosphere, so readership for my blog is an issue.
Anyway, I hope you will find my blog worthy!
Thanks,
Allen
Dear Elanor,
I’ll be more than happy to! Don’tla, make as if *I* get to decide what’s worthy or not :P just a cyber-ciku, I am :P :)
You really seem to know your stuff – wish I understood economics as well! :)
Bests,
nat
