Phantom Menace: Bloggers demanding absolute and unrestrained freedom?? Where? Where?.. :|

I’m really annoyed by those (like theSun) who say – ohhh, these biadap bloggers shouldn’t think they can say whatever they like on the internet, padan muka!

Any idiot can see that they’re trying to sound big by fighting phantom menaces.

Name me one Malaysian blogger who has said that the internet is a place where all should be absolutely free to say anything they damn well like – legal or illegal, truth or lie.

One.

It’s totally up to you to support the plaintiff or the defendant; I respect your choice, as long as its an informed one.

Many have taken a less gung-ho, blindly supportive stance, which is totally understandable – and justified it rationally, humbly and calmly. Try John Lee, Malaysia Uncut, or the incisive analysis by (the wonderful!) politikus.
