I’ve received information that all 3 access roads to the village have been destroyed, so it is now inaccessible to vehicles (developers cutting nose to spite face?). The villagers however, are holding out and have not left the premises. Good for them!

In more positive news, it is learnt that the people arrested gave their statements and were released last night sometime after 8pm.

Wanted to say a quick thanks to all the commentors both here and on bangkit.net who have lent such positive support to this cause - let me say from experience that the villagers really appreciate it!

Try to notice especially: what appears to be an MPAJ officer beating a child (around 1.39), and another one punching a protester who was already being dragged off (around 1.25). Also look out for the anger expressed by both much older and much younger villagers.

What could be the most comprehensive set of pictures for that day has now been put up by Mr. P (previous mr. k and predream - we’re sticking to this one tho) on this website. Lots and lots of good footage, I think he is particularly proud of this one. We’ll be trying to arrange all the media on these things asap.
